AWARDS AT THE 10TH NAJ, NAJ, NAJ FESTIVAL, HELD FROM APRIL 6TH TO APRIL 11TH, 2010 AT THE ZAR PTICA THEATRE

After viewing 18 entries at the 10th Naj, naj, naj international festival, the jury members, Hrvoje Ivankovic, Helena Braut, Igor Ruzic, Gordana Ostovic and Matko Botic, have reached a unanimous decision to award The Golden Fire birds (Zar ptica) to the best in 10 categories.

THE AWARDS GO TO:

1. The award for the best performance goes to Around the World in 80 Days, by Zagrebacko kazaliste mladih (Zagreb Youth Theatre), directed by Kresimir Dolencic.

2. The award for the best director goes to Zlatko Sviben for the performance of Pippi Longstocking by the Children Theatre Branko Mihaljevic from Osijek.

3. The award for the best actor goes to Filip Krizan for the part of Puss in Puss in Boots by the CT Zar ptica from Zagreb.

4. The award for the best actress goes to Marija Kolb for the part of Pippi in Pippi Longstocking by the Children Theatre Branko Mihaljevic from Osijek.

5. The award for the best supporting actress goes to Maja Posavec in The Band Animals by the CT Tresnja from Zagreb.

6. The award for the best supporting actor goes to Maro Martinovic in Around the World in 80 Days by Zagrebacko kazaliste mladih (Zagreb Youth Theatre).

7. The award for overall acting performance goes to Beatrice Baruffini, Davide Doro and Consuelo Ghiretti in Story of a Family by the theatre group Rodisio from Parma.

8. The award for the visual artistic effect goes to Dinka Jericevic and Patricio Alejandro Agüero for the overall artistic achievement in the performance Svarozic (God of Sunlight) by the Zagreb Puppet Theatre.

9. The award for the best dramatic text goes to Tanja Kirhmajer for the text of Little Red Riding Hood based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale by the City Puppet Theatre Rijeka.
