"Ruzica, the cow" is a humorous poetic story discussing questions of tolerance and otherness.

A lazy farmer starts noticing that his cow, Ružica, criticizes and ridicules all other animals on his farm. The animals are upset on account of this, and the farmer is sad as Ružica also has a lot of milk. He sees though how intolerant she is to other animals on the farm and decides to send her far away from home, to Africa. Changed and tamed, Ružica realizes how she cannot go on behaving that way and that the animals on the farm are her friends who have to be respected, not criticized because they are different from her.
