The story about Gamoonjang Agi is based on an old Korean legend about the mythical character of a young woman.

In a poor family with three girls, the youngest Gamoonjang was special and totally different from her older sisters.

After her father threw her out of their home because of her "courage" which was against the traditional social rules back then, Gamoonjang Agi set out to the unknown world and designed her own destiny...

Actors-singers in the performance tell the story playing folk instruments and dancing, creating perfect harmony with the audience.
